And so the third trimester begins…

I cannot believe that we have reached the third trimester! It seems like yesterday that I was freaking out over the two lines on the pregnancy test. My doctor told me during our last visit that this is the most stressful time of pregnancy – the transition form the 2nd to the 3rd trimester. I would believe it! Between my nesting and my restless leg syndrome, the transition sucks! However, I am excited that Sydney is on her way. I am excited that I finally decided on crib bedding and a color scheme for the nursery. I am excited that I will be off work for a little bit. I am curious to see how Tobey reacts to Sydney. I am curious to see how Richard and I react to Sydney.

This just in from the American Journal of Medicine:

"Due to the overwhelming rate of births in the last few months, all infants to be born through the end of this year will be delayed for at least 6-8 weeks."

You can handle the extra womb time; right, Emily?

By the way, have y'all tried the "Dove soap under your bed sheets" trick for the restless legs thing?

You are lying about the dove soap thing! That can't be real. Where did you read that?! How does that work?!

Dang it! It didn't wrap the text of the URL! Well, take what's right above and add this to the end.

043.html

That should do it.

Ok...now I believe you. But do you think Tobey will eat through the sheet to get to the soap? I think he just might! :)

Hmm...well, I can't help you there. Maybe if you covered him in soap shavings, his nose would quit smelling soap, which might help with keeping the soap in your sheets hidden. :)

Hey, if that baby countdown chart-thingy was drawn to resemble a cross-country trek from LA to DC, Baby Sydney would, like, be in Little Rock, AR right now!!!! It's so close!
